Inspiration:

We love our local hot chicken spot, but the owner's always juggling. Phone orders disrupt in-person service, frustrating customers. He needed a solution.

What it does

We built Ezra-AI, an AI system that answers calls, takes orders flawlessly, and relays them to the kitchen. It eliminates the conflict between phone and in-person customers.

How we built it

Using Twilio for calls, Gemini API for understanding orders, and Firebase to connect to the restaurant through an iOS app. It's seamless. Watch the attached video to see it at its full potential, wait till end for happy ending.

Challenges we ran into

Speech-to-text accuracy with Twillio, it's being taken care of.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of our minimal viable product. It's real, and it works, and our beloved hot chicken place is waiting impatiently for it.

What we learned

Our biggest problem right now is speech-to-text conversion on phone call in real-time. We didn't do our due research and used Twilio without weighing its alternatives such as Amazon Connect.

What's next for EZRA-AI

We're refining Ezra-AI. With better call experience and more features for restaurant owners we are scaling it up for high volume usage.
