Inspiration

We are back to working from offices and attending lectures offline. The need of the hour is to come up with the most creative excuses whenever we want to avoid going. To solve this problem is why the Excusinator was made!

What it does

The Excusinator comes up with a creative excuse and sends it on your behalf.

How I built it

I started with figuring out how to use the Gmail API, followed by integrating it with random generation of funny excuses.

Challenges I ran into

Figuring the permissions for the API and sending an email was something new for me.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

This is my first MLH hack and I have been able to develop a full product within 2 days. Happy about it.

What's next for Excusinator

The future scope is to be able to send excuses through other platforms such as whatsapp, slack and discord. User would also be able to customize language for the text.
