Looking for events in 2021? It's Evento Time🎉

Inspiration 🥳

As students, we have busy daily lives, trying to balance our education and personal lives. As a result of that, we might forget an event we were planning on attending, so it is important to have set remainders.
Considering the effects of Covid-19 on the world around us, many people might have been unable to create meaningful friendships in the last year, as a result of self-isolation. In order to help with socialization with others, we believe that having one space full of a wide variety of online and offline activities would be beneficial to provide a space for everyone to find something to their liking.

What it does 👷‍♀️

When you open the Events section on the Evento Time website, you will see the Evento Calendar.
All users have the opportunity to submit, which makes it easier for organizers and hosts to promote their events. In order to publish an event, you have to provide information about:

E-mail
Event Name
Event Location
Date and Time
Additional Information [not required]

You can also add any event you like to your own Google Calendar, so you don't forget anything.

How we built it 🤔

The site was created with Google Sites and Google Forms. The Google Sites platform makes the page accessible on mobile devices as well, so you can use it anywhere at any time.

Challenges we ran into 😬

Time was certainly a challenge for us, as well as finding the most suitable platform to build the page on, as we wanted to make the user interface as friendly and easily accessible as possible.

Accomplishments that we're proud of 🥳

We found a suitable and user-friendly way to make our idea come to life!

What we learned ✍

Despite the short time we had to work on the project, we learned a lot. We had the chance to challenge ourselves and learn a lot! Also, as we are people coming from different backgrounds, working together to make a tool to help create diversity while also connecting with others, we once again realised just how important inclusivity is!
