Fueled by the incident of Taylor Swift concert tickets being snatched by bots and sold on the black market at exorbitant prices, we set out to revolutionize the ticketing industry. By leveraging the power of blockchain and Ethereum, Ethertix ensures that tickets are distributed as unique NFTs, guaranteeing authenticity and preventing scalpers from exploiting fans. Event Creation - Organizers can easily create events on Ethertix, providing essential details such as date, venue, and ticket availability.
NFT Ticket Generation - Ethertix mints unique NFT tickets for each event, tying them to the Ethereum blockchain, ensuring their authenticity and scarcity .
Secure Ticket Purchases - Fans can purchase NFT tickets using Ethereum, eliminating the possibility of bots and ensuring a fair distribution among genuine attendees.
Anti-Scalping Measures - The use of NFTs prevents scalpers from hoarding tickets and selling them at inflated prices on the black market, promoting a level playing field for all fans.
Enhanced Event Experience - Attendees enjoy a seamless event experience with fast, secure, and contactless access through their digital NFT tickets, leaving more time to immerse themselves in the moment and create lasting memories.

🛠️ How we built it?

Smart Contract Development - The foundation of Ethertix is built using Solidity, a programming language for Ethereum smart contracts. Skilled developers design and write the smart contracts that handle ticket creation, ownership, and transfer functionality.
Metamask Integration - Ethertix integrates the popular browser extension Metamask, allowing users to securely interact with the Ethereum blockchain and make ticket purchases using their ETH funds.
Frontend Development with React - The frontend of Ethertix is developed using React, a widely-used JavaScript library for building user interfaces. React enables a responsive and intuitive ticketing interface, making it easy for fans to browse and buy NFT tickets.
Web3.js for Ethereum Interaction - To interact with the Ethereum blockchain from the frontend, Ethertix employs Web3.js, a JavaScript library that connects the application to the blockchain network, enabling seamless communication with the smart contracts.
Deployment on Ethereum Testnet(Hardhat) - After thorough testing and , Ethertix is deployed on the Ethereum testnet.
