Inspiration

The inspiration behind Eternal AI stems from the urgent need to address the lack of access to dermatological care in Nigeria and similar regions. Recognizing the disparity in dermatologist-to-patient ratios, we were inspired to leverage AI-driven analysis to provide immediate, preliminary assessments based on user-uploaded images and symptom data. Our goal is to bridge the gap in access to skin care specialists and empower individuals to take proactive steps towards better skin health.

What it does

Eternal AI provides an innovative solution by offering immediate, preliminary assessments of skin conditions through AI-driven analysis. Users can upload images and provide symptom data, receiving real-time feedback on potential skin conditions. This not only expedites the process of identifying skin issues but also educates users on skin health, guiding them on when and how to seek professional care. Our solution is tailored for scenarios where dermatological appointments might be inaccessible, delayed, or where patients are unwilling to make physical appointments.

How we built it

We built Eternal AI using ReactJS for the frontend, ensuring a user-friendly experience for seamless interaction. For the AI-driven analysis, we integrated the powerful capabilities of google/generative-ai and gemini-pro, enabling accurate assessments based on uploaded images and symptom data.

Challenges we ran into

During the development process, we encountered several challenges, including: Optimizing the performance of the AI analysis to ensure better/more accurate response, Integrating the frontend with the AI-driven analysis seamlessly.
