Inspiration

We already know that luxury brands, such as, Estee Lauder gives discount to their customers on a variety of products. We came up with a plan to use this discount system in an inventive and rewarding way, to spread awareness on Breast Cancer among it's audience.

What it does

To attract and spread awareness for the same, we will be giving out the discounts through their app. To avail the discount each person will need to fill a mandatory survey. The survey will have some general questions about breast cancer. After completing the survey, the discount coupon will be automatically mailed to their email id. The catch here is: more number of correct answers, more discount. For example, if a customer has 3 correct answers then the maximum discount he can get is 3% and so on. Also there will be a dashboard, where people can get all the information regarding breast cancer.

How we built it

The app was built in Android Studio, using Java.

Challenges we ran into

I have never used Android Studio for app development, so it was a little difficult in the initial stages. Another challenge we faced was to edit the images and use them in the platform for our desired use.

We are proud that in the end we were able to come up with an inventive way to spread awareness for a noble cause.

What we learned

We learned how to use Android studio efficiently and to make various types of applications according to our needs.
