Inspiration
Location intelligence will undoubtedly play a critical role.
On one side are the Savvy digitally-driven real estate teams are utilizing location technology to maintain a competitive edge – armed with accurate, timely insights, these firms want to better capitalize on these trends and reap the rewards. On the other side are remote workers like me who are looking for places with better access to certain places. For example: I have been working remotely for more than 1.5 years now and I personally look for places that have a gym and a park nearby. Because I change places so often, I have to make sure some of the resources are easily available to me and are near my house. Keeping this two in mind is when the idea of Estate Expert originated.
What it does
Our app helps you book places in a simple few click process. You open our app, signup, or get started. There you can all the listings and details. If you want further details you click the listing and check details and places nearby. Now our app also provides you with the option to search the place nearby it. You can also do a similar thing by clicking on the search tab which helps you find places near your current location.
How we built it
We built it using Flutter, an open source toolkit along with the foursquare API to search for places nearby.
Challenges we ran into
Making the app run on all three platforms Android, iOS and Web was challenging as it requires optimizing for the respective platform.
