Our ESE 190 final project is going to be designing a functioning traffic stop light with a pedestrian crossing signal using an Arduino system. This will allow us to use the knowledge we have gained throughout the semester in the labs. We expect to need 3 LEDs, one red, one green, and one yellow, a push button, resistors, a breadboard, and wires. For our skill level and understanding, we think this will be a challenging project to complete, but is not an unreasonable task. We will write our own code, which will be a good way to solidify the coding experience in Arduino that we have obtained through our labs. This project should take us a few lab visits and some time coding outside of the lab.
