Project Name: LEDs clothes (subject to change...)
For our project, we plan on using LED strips attached to clothing that change color based on the wearer’s movements. The light pattern is determined by the mode set by the wearer (i.e. flashing, waves, etc.) and the wearer’s speed affects the frequency of the LEDs light pattern. The accelerometer system would be worn at the waist and either through wired or wireless communication signal the LEDs to produce the effect determined by the input. The Arduino controlling this system and the LEDs would be connected to a battery pack as a voltage source. A switch will activate the system and it will be controlled by a series of switches connected to the Arduino pins to control the light effects.
