Inspiration

Every day, millions suffer from intense anxiety. This debilitating disorder does not allow them to conduct their daily lives with pride and joy. We hope to ease their burden with Equilibrium.

What it does

Equilibrium is a suite of several functions, all geared towards reducing anxiety. Through a questionnaire, we hope to evaluate the user's mood and give them relevant recommendations.

How we built it

The application is built entirely on React Native.

Challenges we ran into

It was very difficult to ensure that the app had a warm, friendly UI. Furthermore, the many features were very time consuming to implement.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to create an app that we feel has incredible potential to improve the wellness of its users.

What we learned

We gained a lot of relevant experience towards the development of mobile apps with asyncronous storage and file writing.

What's next for Equilibrium

We would like to fully flesh out all of its existing features, from adding original tracks to our player to making the therapist map fully interactable.
