Inspiration
I was inspired by one of my favorite YouTube channels Learning with Jason. Within an episode of web dev challenge, one episode was a bout not just making another chatbot. To this end, I decided to create a character to help fellow inquirers answer questions of all kinds.
What it does
Enter a prompt. Whiskerion emerges from his epic laying-about, and offers bites of wisdom in a way that our cosmic feline can.
How we built it
Utilized Gemini. Gemini 2.5 flash was very interesting to explore with all of the ideas we had.
Challenges we ran into
Certain stuf with their API keys are paywalled? Not sure if that was always the case, but I ran into it this weekend.
What we learned
Discovered strong strengths and flawed flaws with google Gemini flash 2.5, but had plenty of fun along the way.
