Inspiration
We saw the environment track and the funniest track were side by side in the orientation, so we decided the make a website about harming the environment.
What it does
You can use it to get information of why fracking is actually good (it isn't), see our top 10 favorite companies, buy some merch if it is in stock, and play a mini game.
How we built it
We built it using React and React router, and deployed it with Vercel.
Challenges we ran into
Dealing with state in the mini game was pretty annoying, and so was just setting up the IDE.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We made and hosted a working website that utilizes satire to educate people on environmental issues.
What we learned
We learned more about React, particularly how to configure React Router.
What's next for EnviroNot
Next feature would be a petitions page connected to a database to allow people to show solidarity with EnviroNot.
