Inspiration

I have worked for a woman-owned business for five years and am proud of it. With that being said, I have seen the struggles of funding and being a women entrepreneur firsthand. This inspired me to create EntrepreneuHER to help connect women entrepreneurs to avoid these struggles or help each other through them.

What it does

EntrepreneuHER helps connect women entrepreneurs globally, sharing their business ideas, connecting, getting advice, and finding help.

How we built it

I used Figma to wireframe this and Canva for the logo. Unfortunately, I did not have time to finish and code it.

Challenges we ran into

It was difficult to get perfect alignment across all screens and time was an issue for me.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of coming up with the idea and color scheme and making something presentable. I hope to keep working on this and finish it after Technica.

What we learned

I learned more about how to use Figma and Canva as well as some of the challenges women entrepreneurs face.

What's next for EntrepreneuHER

I hope to add a way for users to put in their zipcode or location to filter the people that show up on their feeds to be within a certain mile radius of them. I also hope to add a section for connecting to funding that is meant for them through sponsors, venture capital, etc.
