Inspiration

My inspiration comes from dissatisfaction with LinkedIn. As an introvert, I don’t enjoy displaying my timeline or profile photo publicly. Therefore, I want to create a more casual and user-friendly environment for making professional connections.

What it does

This website transforms traditional resumes into engaging, animated portfolio pages. Users can upload their Word document resumes, which are then summarized using AI (Claude) to create concise bios, highlight project-based experiences, and extract relevant skills tags. The result is a visually appealing and interactive portfolio that showcases a user's professional journey in a fresh and engaging way.

How we built it

We built EntreLink through interactions with bolt.new, v0, chatgpt, claude, and gemeni, using a combination of modern web and mobile technologies, including React for the front end and Node.js for the back end. We integrated AI models like Claude for generating project descriptions and skill tags, and leveraged APIs such as dicebear to generate avatar pictures.

Challenges we ran into

We had a problem in the backend storing data and I couldn't connect to the anthropic api key.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of developing an intuitive and elegant interface that simplifies networking and profile management.

What we learned

I gained significant experience using Bolt.new to create a website. It functions like a passionate junior-level developer on my team—requiring detailed instructions and frequent debugging guidance—but it excels in frontend development, making the interface look polished and visually appealing.

What's next for EntreLink

Next, we plan to develop a mobile version with a more advanced and sophisticated design. The goal is to make it function as a digital business card specifically for entrepreneurs, allowing them to showcase their profiles and projects effortlessly during networking events and casual professional gatherings.
