  Using Unity to show the current populations and how without any drastic changes, extinction is inevitable.

Inspiration

We realized that as human development increases, so does the destruction of this earth and its wildlife. As more homes, towns, and cities are being built, more habitats and animal lives are destroyed, and as a result of this destruction, many species are beginning to become endangered, due to the acts of humans and the destruction that follows, and we wanted to do something about it.

What it does

The website is a combination of HTML and CSS(Website Code) plus EchoAR, in order to create a user-friendly site in which 3D Modeling can showcase these animals and their problem, as more of them continue to die each day, destroying the species as a whole. The website's main goal is to raise awareness and showcase the issue of endangerment, as more species continue to move to the brink of extinction.

How we built it

We used a combination of HTML, CSS, JQuery for the website, plus we added EchoAR and Unity for the 3D Modeling concept and ideas in the website, for a more immersive experience.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into a variety of challenges, such as the implementation of the EchoAR 3D models into the website, and the overall format and aesthetics of the website, since this was a large combination of HTML/CSS, EchoAR, and Unity.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We believe we made a quality website, which shows off our mission and ideas well, as well as our ideas and 3D modeling concepts using EchoAR.

What we learned

We learned about the idea of time management, the use of 3D Models in websites, and cooperation between teammates in order to make quality work.

What's next for EndangAR

We will continue to update the website with more work and more animals, as we need to preserve as many of these animals as possible, before they all disappear.
