The Urban Kitchen

Inspiration

We want to help save food and reduce waste while cutting costs for the day-to-day user.

What it does

We connect the consumer and restaurant to help the restaurant produce in bulk, and consumers, in turn, buy in bulk and save money, time, and most importantly: environmental costs.

How we built it

We used React and Google Colab.

Challenges we ran into

We needed to keep consumers in mind their needs for the app and the feasibility of the idea.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to make it urban-centric.

What we learned

We learned how to cater to the user and make a user-friendly app.

What's next for UrbanBites

We can expand across to more restaurants and reduce even more waste by giving out restaurants' leftover food for the night.
