Inspiration: The "Broken Rung"
In the heart of the Ser Mulher em Tech community, we witnessed a heartbreaking trend: brilliant women graduating from bootcamps only to disappear into the "void" between learning and hiring. We were inspired by the resilience of these women who face systemic barriers every day. We didn't just want to build another job board; we wanted to build a lifeline that ensures no woman’s potential is ever silenced by a lack of guidance or opportunity.
What it does: The Bridge to Belonging
Empower Gen is more than a platform—it is a digital mentor that walks beside every woman in her tech journey. By integrating AI-driven tools like the Career Planner and LinkedIn Content Lab, we strip away the "imposter syndrome" that keeps women in the shadows. From Affirmative Action job matches to a Mentorship Program that connects newcomers with icons at Google and Nubank, we are creating a world where women don't just enter tech—they lead it.
How we built it: Tech with a Soul
We poured our values into the architecture, ensuring every line of code serves the mission of inclusion.
We built Empower Gen to be a high-performance, scalable solution by placing Google's Artificial Intelligence at its core.
Gemini Pro API: We integrated Google’s most capable AI models to drive our LinkedIn Content Lab and Career Planner, ensuring every piece of advice is contextually aware and professional.
Google AI Studio: The entire prototyping and logic refinement was conducted within Google AI Studio, allowing us to rapidly iterate on prompts that handle sensitive career transitions with empathy and precision.
Intelligent Analysis: Our CV Analysis and Interview Practice modules leverage Google's natural language processing capabilities to provide real-time, actionable feedback that mimics a human mentor.
Accessibility First: By using Google’s robust developer tools, we ensured the interface is clean, fast, and accessible, meeting the high standards required for an inclusive community like Ser Mulher em Tech.
The AI Pulse: We used LLMs to create Bet, a virtual assistant that offers the emotional and professional support women need in real-time.

Challenges we ran into: Fighting the Bias
Our hardest battle was ensuring our AI didn't inherit the very biases we are trying to destroy. We spent countless hours refining our Cultural Fit Analysis to move beyond "buzzwords" and focus on finding environments where women are actually valued, not just tolerated. We also faced the technical hurdle of making the platform accessible to all, ensuring our PCD features were intuitive and empowering.

What we learned: Connection is the Cure
We learned that the "gender gap" isn't just about skills; it’s about the lack of a support system. Our users told us that the Interview Practice and Mentorship modules didn't just improve their answers—they changed how they saw themselves. We discovered that when you give a woman a clear path and a community that believes in her, she becomes unstoppable.
What's next: The Empower Gen Revolution
Our journey with Ser Mulher em Tech is just beginning. We are moving toward a future where Empower Gen is the global standard for inclusive hiring. We plan to expand our Web Dev and Data Science tracks into full-scale certification programs and launch an "Innovation Fund" for the projects born in our Co-founder hub. We aren't just building a career hub; we are building the future of the tech industry, one woman at a time.
