A platform helps Computer Science students to stay motivated, and build consistent study habits by gamifying their studying experience.

Inspiration

We wanted to create a tool to help students see their progress towards graduation and understand the impact of their studying habits.

What it does

Study Session Timer: Students may start their focused study session with a built-in timer that tracks how long they work on their assingments and programming tasks

Reward System: Students earn points for completing study sessions, mainatining streaks, and returning to the platform

Progress Dashboard : shows total study time, streaks, earned rewards, weekly progress and total contribution to personal goal

How we built it

Using ChatGPT Codex, videos, and help from classmates, we were able to create prompts using beginner level coding language.

Challenges we ran into

Lack of coding experience. I really didn't know any of this before, but it was easy to have ai explain things in ways that I could understand and use

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Made a website that serves a purpose, if developed further, I believe this could be a great tool for students.

Elevate by Elevance will go into other departments to create unique platforms for each program to use. For example, ElevateBAM, ElevatePsych, ElevateSS and so on
