Inspiration
Many students have been hindered in their academics due to the fact that they are unable to access quality education that is specifically curated to their learning style and/or learning disability. Therefore, we decided to make a platform where students can get access to a variety of tutors with different skills and specifically curate the feed to see which tutors match the specific student
What it does
It basically helps students to get access to tutors who caters specifically to the particular learning style or learning disability of the student and allows them to have a better learning experience
How we built it
We built it using python's flask framework, along with using html for the pages. And we used firebase for the authentication and firestore for the database. We hosted the website on pythonanywhere.com and is accessible with the link: hasithpythonanywhere.com

We ran into some challenges with how we curate the student's feed of tutors
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of how well the tutor ranking system works on the tutor feed
What we learned
we learnt a lot about web development and the a lot more about the technicalities of hosting websites and authenticating users.
What's next for EduFlex by HAPM
We plan to expand this further, and add new features to improve the user experience
