Inspiration
Since I was a little kid, the current education system always bothered me. The flaws I found in the system only grew with time. After shifting between six different schools, I've found that consistency between teaching is lacking. Another defect in the system I've seen is that everyone is taught in the same way. This prevents children from reaching their full potential.
What it does
The concept of EdBud was introduced to solve the problems addressed in the previous section, and more. It provides personalized teaching to every student across the globe. Its objective is to enable all kids to realize their full potential. The class/grade system will be replaced with a topic based system. Children are free to select branching subjects once they have finished the foundation topics. EdBuds will also be available for purchase for adults.
Challenges we ran into
At first, the absence of social interaction looked to be a drawback, but EdBuds will more than make up for it with the amount of extra time they get due to the effectiveness of the instruction and the lack of transportation.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
EdBuds will cause school transportation to come to a halt, leading to fewer carbon emissions and, hence, combating climate change.
What's next for EdBud
It is hoped that a global organization will regulate the manufacturing of EdBuds, and will be funded to hand out free EdBuds to all children below a certain age.
