Inspiration

We were inspired to make this bot because we both wanted to make something that we could enjoy in the long run. We both are fairly new at programming and most of our knowledge lies in Java, python is not our strong suit. We wanted to challenge ourselves this hackathon.

What it does

How we built it

We used python and we used an online compiler for the sake of being able to both work on it at the same time. We followed a few tutorials and implemented a few of our own concepts.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into a lot of unexpected bugs. However, our main challenge was getting the image of the stock history up. We used turtle to draw the stock data and it took a lot of time to find a working solution.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

This was the first discord bot and project using python we ever made. The bot itself is really cool and we are proud of it. Getting the turtle image up was also amazing.
