Inspiration

We were inspired by various other social media platforms like twitter and the hackgwinnet theme.

What it does

Our project is a social media platform where users can create posts with pictures of themselves in nature. You must login first to access.

How we built it

We used replit and mongodb. We used html, css, js and python with flask for the backend

Challenges we ran into

Working with mongodb was difficult

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Managing to get the database to function somewhat and writing our own user auth system

What we learned

How to use mongodb and write frontend code

What's next for Ecoconnect

Update to the UI, code cleanup, more features such as a user page, settings edit option, etc.
