Inspiration
We’re a team of four 2nd year MPP students tackling the problem of echo chambers in our digital and physical world, and working to reclaim them to result in better, more robust dialogue. We think ECHOS has the potential to not only be an engaging platform but could also fundamentally change the way we learn and relate to one another.
Our product is a social media platform that combines the best elements of Masterclass and Clubhouse, in order to create an engaging experience that breaks down the “thought silos” found on other social media platforms. By combining the expert teachings from MasterClass and the amorphous social networking of Clubhouse, we are creating an engaging space for people to learn from experts and one another.
Inspired by graduate seminars similar to those offered by the Institute of Politics, ECHOS invites subject matter experts or “ECHO Leaders” to conduct 6 - 8 week seminars on specific topics. Each of these 6 - 8 week blocks will have several topics or “ECHO chambers” led by a wide range of experts.
