Inspiration

As avid travelers, we enjoy flying from country to country, but the one thing we always dread is money exchange with foreign currency. Reflecting on our personal struggles, we were inspired to develop an app that would assist in converting our known currency to foreign currency.

What it does

This app can convert multiple currencies to other currencies.

How we built it *

We built it by coding Swift on XCode.

Challenges we ran into *

First of all, we struggled with sticking to a project idea; our team had a lot of ambitious, innovative ideas but we had to keep our skills and the time constraint in mind, so it took a while to come to a conclusion. Secondly, we struggled with putting much of the currency exchange information into code. We ran into a few complications, but we fixed our errors and figured it out.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the functionality of this app, as well as how we were able to incorporate aesthetics into our design. We are also proud of the new coding skills that we obtained while developing the app.

What we learned *

We learned how to use Swift, work with UIs, and learn on the spot.

What's next for Easy Convrt*

We plan on expanding this app, adding more features, and making it a better experience for users so we can launch it.
