Inspiration

We have a family member who is a nurse. She often complains about the sanitary system and suggested us an idea to improve it.

What it does

It is a public service aimed at every inhabitant of Catalonia where the user can find information about different services. First, they can have access to a map where there is the expected time of attendance. Second, there is also a pill-taking remainder. Third, there appears information about different medical professionals the user can choose and, in the last place, the user can book an appointment wherever and whenever they want.

How we built it

We used Javascript, CSS and HTML and VisualStudio as our IDE. In addition to this, we used Angular, which is a platform for building mobile and desktop web applications.

Challenges we ran into

It was difficult to deal with the backend, so we finally decided to avoid using it. Instead, this project has been full developed through the use of frontend. Also, it was difficult to obtain real data on the real expected time of attendance, so we decided to simulate it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are very happy that we could finish our project in time, provided that we started a little bit late.

What we learned

We have improved our programming skills and also learnt more about Javascript, HTML, and CSS.

What's next for E-salut

We would like to be able to get real data in order to provide the user with the real expected time of attendance.
