Duckscription

Inspiration

We wanted to build a simple but cutely-themed app that can do something useful!

What it does

Duckscription helps you keep track of all your subscription services and their payment dates.

How we built it

We designed the UI and the database structure in Figma before dividing the front and back end wordload.

Challenges we ran into

We came across lots of small errors that took up a lot of time but we were able to overcome those challenges by looking at each other's code to spot the typos.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to nearly complete a full full stack development within 12 hours! From design to coding and hosting!

What we learned

To ask for help when we're stuck instead of being stubborn! To commit more and pull more so there are less merge conflicts! Also that Auth0 and React states can be a huge thorn in development :(
