Inspiration

Healthcare should be accessible and approachable by anyone in any situation, unfortunately, this isn't the case for lower-income individuals. City Free Clinic was created to assist such individuals.

What it does

City Free Clinic takes advantage of AI technology to help the target audience identify treatment options for physical or psychological symptoms that they otherwise wouldn't have been able to.

How we built it

Using Google's Speech to Text and Text to Speech API, we used Python to create a mock 'AI' that would analyze the conversation from the user to identify keywords that would help in diagnosis.

Challenges we ran into

Due to the nature of this solution, we had to properly draft out what the service would and would not provide. There were many revisions and do-overs that led to the decision for the final batch of functionality included in the product.
