Inspiration
As a student of Environmental Science, we wanted to create a project that would help people overcome the effects of global warming such as the increase in numbers and magnitude of droughts.
What it does
The AI is able to predict many variables of droughts when given appropriate information of past days.
How we built it
We started by using Linear regression model and trained the AI on a training set. We then gave the AI a testing set and graphed out the results of the predictions.
Challenges we ran into
The AI is incomplete yet as we are thinking that it may not be a Linear model as the Root square mean error indicates that the AI is not fully functional.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Even though the AI is incomplete, we were still able to map out the results of the testing set.

What's next for Drought Prediction AI
Hopefully in the near future we will be able to fix the AI in order to get better and more accurate predictions by changing the Linear model.
