Inspiration

A great pitch by Rolls Royce at the StartHack 2018.

What it does

Start up a drone, fly it into another room, scan for broken generators (red lighting) and return with an image of the broken one.

How we built it

Using Python and a raspberry pi, in order to use librepilot and a cc3d board.

Challenges we ran into

Getting the whole setup up and running while having no drone to test with most of the time and only one raspberry-pi proved... hard.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Connecting the raspberry pi with the wifi so that we can ssh-ing to it anytime.

What we learned

More sleep in the beginning, less in the end is probably better than almost working completely through the first night and then making a lot of mistakes on the second one.
