Inspiration

Inspired by games like garticPhone, and AR technologies

What it does

Creates fun interactive game that friends and family can play. Each person has to get creative with their environment and think of creative representations to make.

How we built it

Our hackathon project is a hand recognition and drawing application built with Mediapipe, a library for machine learning-based perception and control. The Mediapipe library was used to recognize hands in real-time video and track their movement. We then created a JavaScript-based drawing interface that allows users to draw on the screen using hand gestures. To create the frontend, we used React components to package the entire interface. This allowed us to create a seamless and user-friendly experience. Additionally, we also created fully-featured interfaces with timers, multi-faceted rooms, and other features to enhance the user experience.

The backend was built with Flask and socketio.

Challenges we ran into

we were learning a bunch of new technology. Growng pains, but it helped us learn a lot.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Cool to build an MVP people can share. Overall, our project is a unique and innovative use of hand recognition technology that provides users with a fun and interactive way to draw and create art.
