Inspiration
How the idea came was as you all know the Largest vaccination drive in US history began with Pfizer's Covid-19 shots.
While seeing this we thought about how can we contribute and help this cause and therefore our idea came about.
Being Computer Science students we felt if we could come up with a solution that helps doctors keep track of patients, keeping their allergies into consideration while making sure the vaccine is given to them or not would be really helpful.
What it does
Our website is a basic bare-bones implementation to keep track of patients and their allergies and to check whether the vaccine is given to them or not.
How we built it
Backend is done using NodeJs, Front end we use react and is hosted in Netlify
Challenges we ran into
A challenge we ran into was integrating the UI (User Interface) into the website.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
An accomplishment we are proud of is implementing a database on our website.
What we learned
We learned a lot starting from our health care system to a lot about different frameworks.
What's next for Immunization
We would like to get it tested and gain some initial user feedback. Once we receive user feedback, we are able to implement that feedback and maybe in the near future, hospitals will be able to use the website in their intranets. In addition, we would have liked to implement a data map to visualize the vaccines that have been distributed within a certain radius.
