What it does

This app showcases different foods from around the world. We focused popular cities across the continents, and displayed a dish that is popular there. Users can navigate around our map and click on different cities. It will then show the dish that is popular there, a little bit about the dish, and a recipe for users to make and enjoy for themselves!

We built this app using Xcode for our source-code editor and Swift.

What's next for DonutComply

With more time, we were hoping for our app to be able to have a commenting system for users to share their opinions about the dish we've decided to showcase. Also, users can suggest changing the dish we've showcased into another dish that they think depicts the city's cuisine better. With enough upvotes, they can change the dish entirely with their own recipe that others can try and upvote. We would also like to make a bookmarks tab so that users would be able to save any recipes that they'd like. Overall, we're looking to make an app that can house a community of food lovers that want to share their amazing recipes
