McFlea in Domino Run
I decided to try out Tiltfive as it reminded me of the voxatron fantasy console which was considering using for this hackathon. Voxatron only simulates a holographic board, but seemed like it might be a real life version of the idea.
The general concept was to develop a platformer with elements of a flea circus, domino rallt and sokoban style games. One player would use an xbox controller to move the player, and the second player could set off sets of falling dominoes to complete the playforms for the player to reach the end goal.

Out Concept
We mixed elements of all four into this game. The visual perspective and feel is similar to a voxatron game and has a hint of a flea circus vibe.
The final game has about six scenes (5+ small levels). The first few levels teach the player about the platforming elements and the final level includes the domino element.
The final level has the opportunity for multiplayer with the second player using the wand to assist in setting off the domino effect, and is also similar to a flea circus trainer assisting the fleas.
Challenges
Initally I wanted to use the wand joystick to move two characters, similar to robotron. The wand input system is a little different than the usual unity input system. However, I was able to use the want to prototype a moving block, and get some interactivity with the joystick in the wand. The input system for a platformer can probably be modified to use the TiltFive, and we'd like to try to do that.
We also had to learn how to do a HUD for the coin counting and health, instead of using the typical unity canvas, but we got it working!
Tools
The game was built in Unity on a desktop pc. I tried a few different sets of kits and prefabs, and mixed and matched them. The levels were all generated during the hackathon.
Youtube Demo
The youtube video of gameplay demonstrates the tiltfive in use through the glasses to get a sense of perspective and 360 degrees of view.
The 360 review is follow by the first 5 or so levels.
The final portion of the video shows the wand in use.
