Inspiration

I built this app because I wanted to create a simple tool for people to gain financial literacy especially in America.

What it does

It helps Americans build core financial skills, all while maintaining engagement through personalization. It has a quiz assessment to check your financial literacy, Also have a quiz based on your financial literacy level to help you learn. If you want to learn more about different financial and economic terms you can check out the glossary.

How we built it

It was built using html, css and typescript. Also, leveraged different finance related websites to get the questions. Lastly, used goggle gemini to clean up the code.

Challenges we ran into

The key challenge was generating the questions.

What's next for dollarWize

Nothing on the horizon yet but potentially looking to add more finance related content and tools for example expense tracker, credit card comparison tool
