Inspiration
We wanted to practice coding through a day to day application, so we made a Discord bot
What it does
It can tell who doesn't follow an Instagram account back, and follow accounts, all through Discord
How we built it
I made a Discord bot and an Instagram bot. The Discord bot can use the methods of the Instagram bot and show the results on Discord.
Challenges we ran into
Getting the bot to work for multiple people
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We made our first code that does something outside of AP Computer Science. It can display those who don't follow an account back on Instagram on Discord.
What we learned
We learned python and how to use Selenium.
What's next for Discord bot
We plan to make the bot useable to the public. We want to use the Instagram API to make the bot work significantly more quickly and reliably. We want to add the ability to display posts from an Instagram account directly onto discord.
