Inspiration

We were inspired by the Texas Ice Age to make an app that facilitates community cooperation. We wanted to make something that would have been helpful to us when we were cold and miserable.

What it does

The app allows people in the same area to post requests for things they need or offer a trade for items.

How we built it

We built the app on Flutter, a cross-platform technology that allows us to deploy to mobile, web and desktop

Challenges we ran into

We did not finish our project. We lost a group member overnight and the remaining 3 of us are all new to flutter; still, we had fun learning about UI/UX design. We did a lot of quality project management of which we are proud

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our effort and our project management skills. Flutter just released a major update and we persevered through all the out-of-date tutorials and depreciated packages and learned a lot.

What's next for Disastrr

We had fun working together and intend to finish the app throughout the semester!
