Inspiration

The love for extinct history and awesomeness of dinosaurs inspired our desire to create a dinosaur based game.

How it works

Dinosaur chases player. Player can jump by a mouse click event to catch speed boosts to run faster from the dinosaur. However, if player misses speed boost, then dinosaur speeds up. If dinosaur catches up to player or game time (one minute) runs out, then player gets eaten and loses. If player reaches finish line then they win and live. There are two levels. Level one only includes speed boosts to help win. Level two includes boulders as obstacles and speed boosts.

Challenges I ran into

In C#, having pictures layer over each other doesn't allow for the transparency to work. That's why images have white backgrounds.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The infinite loop of the background.

What I learned

We learned how to use GUI in C#.

What's next for DinoDuo

Creating a shop for more boosts and include dinosaur trivia into game. Also, to include more levels.
