Inspiration :

In this world no one has time to think about their personality, knowing your own self is really important because you are the one who has the answer to all the questions. So come join us as we figure out your inner Dino.

What it does:

So we at DinoCare will help you know your personality and how well you match with the personality of a dinosaur through the form you fill and will find you the minor improvements that may go a long way with you.

How we built it:

This project was built using the ReactJS framework.

Challenges we ran into:

As all of us were newbie hackers with PreHackStoric being our first hackathon, all the rush of building something got to us at first but later we picked up the pace and worked it out. The JavaScript linking with different dinosaurs was the difficult part, we still have a problem with the responsiveness of the website which will be solved soon.

Accomplishments that we're proud of:

We were able to completely make the idea possible and link our personality with that of dinosaurs. We are proud that we could showcase our idea behind this project to some extent if not the complete idea and look forward to improving this project as well.

What we learned:

We learned a new CSS technique to make the design look more beautiful and presentable, also we learned JavaScript different tools, and libraries which served as an effective way to make things easy to code. Using different hooks we learned to pass data between components thus making it more efficient rather than passing all the data throughout all the other components. Apart from that our team's first hackathon was a great experience for all of us as each of us learned many new things in this weekend.

What's next for DinoCare:

Currently, DinoCare has a limited amount of info about Dinosaurs along with a variety of questions. This can be overcome because there is a vast diversity in the personalities of the dinosaurs yet to be discovered and be able to provide more useful analysis and better understanding to one's personality.
