The Problem:

Documenting and sharing travel experiences with those around us has been a recurring problem for many people. Many people want to capture their journeys, but traditional journaling and social media aren't always the right option. Family and friends often miss out on real-time updates and memories can get lost in our photo galleries.

With this in mind, how might we design a digital platform that helps users seamlessly share their experiences with family and friends?

The solution:

Our goal was to create a tool that makes it effortless to document travels while keeping loved ones connected. Digitravel is a digital travel journal that makes it easy to document and share travel experiences with close ones. Users can create a journal for each trip, invite their friends to join, update entries with photos and captions, keep a calendar for current travels, unlock new destinations by pinning locations they have visited, and organize memories.
