Inspiration

I've always had a passion for financial inclusion and my inspiration was the drive to search for how Nigeria can innovate digital payment and yet accommodating the low income earners at the bottom of the pyramids

What it does

This technology enables seamless contactless payments by facilitating the transfer of information through sounds. This technology only needs a phone to possess the ability to make or record sounds, and it can be used to transfer previous transactional history as well as payment confirmation data instantly. Through this technology, users at the Point of Sale would be able to transact safely and securely and payment can be done without “internet” as Nigeria‘s Internet availability is still growing .

How I built it

We used blockchain and soundwave technology in implementing the solution We used blockchain to enable more secure management and storage of digital identities by providing unified and tamper-proof infrastructure. It’s more secure when compared to available solutions and would be the perfect carrier of historical transactional information and soundwave technology becomes the perfect carrier of this information to-and-from your mobile phone.
