Inspiration:
My parents and other immigrants that I have seen struggle with understanding the complex English language, especially in legal scenarios.
What it does:
Simplifies complex text or legal documents, making them more accessible for people with lower literacy levels.
How we built it:
I used basic Python as well as NLTK
Challenges I ran into:
I wanted to initially make this accessible via a website and implement different things but I wasn't able to do that because of time constraints.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of:
I'm proud that I actually finished because I wasn't sure I would be able to due to my very hectic weekend.
What I learned:
I learned about nltk which I hadn't used before but now can use a little
What's next for Diff2Ease:
I want to make an implementation for this with a website so anyone would be able to access it!
