Inspiration

We pushed our technical abilities further as we aimed to create an AI-powered full-stack MERN web application that facilitates learning, making it more efficient for Computer Science students, software developers, and engineers alike. By tackling the challenge of simplifying access to tailored, actionable tutorials, we sought to create a resource that saves time and empowers users to focus on learning and building.

What it does

DevGuideAI generates custom, text-based tutorials based on user input. Whether a user needs help with coding, debugging, or understanding complex software concepts, the platform provides clear, structured responses. It’s designed to cater to diverse needs—from foundational coding topics to advanced development workflows.

How we built it

-Frontend: Built using React.js for dynamic, responsive user interaction. -Backend: Implemented with Node.js and Express.js for seamless API communication. -Database: MongoDB, using CRUD operations to manage user data and preferences. -AI Engine: HuggingFace Transformers integrated with Databricks for Natural Language Processing (NLP), enabling human-like text generation.

Challenges we ran into

-Fine-tuning the AI model to ensure accuracy and relevance in tutorial generation. -Balancing the complexity of features with the need for a simple and intuitive user interface. -Managing the interplay between backend and frontend in real-time data flow.

Accomplishments that we're proud of
