Inspiration

We were inspired by out own story of checking in with each other by sending texts of what we need to do and certain challenges we have to keep each other accountable

What it does

It is a smart alarm clock which performs alarm clock functions along with sending messages essentially.

How we built it

We built this using Soildworks and C++, utilizing Gemini we generated code and use the makerspace because we are students.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges we ran into was implementing multiple circuitry aspects and connecting the mechanical and digital aspects together.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are pretty proud of how much the functions work! We can actually send messages and set timers for stretching. But I would say we are most proud of how far we came even with the limited resources we had.

What we learned

We learn how to work as a team, as well as multiple engineering skills such as coding, SolidWorks, and soldering.

What's next for deska clanka

Adding all the features we wanted, and customization features. Having a laptop function to send messages. Finally, we would like to have our arms hotswappable.
