Inspiration

Part Senior Design Project for Mechanical Engineering. Other part is for a minature scaled motion platform.

How it works

Uses 2 DC motors and potentiometers for position feedback with two 4 bar mechanisms to actuate a platform for 2 DOF rotation in pitch and roll. Microcontroller is an Mbed. Using serial communication on laptop to control the actuators.

Challenges I ran into

Ran out of time to implement autonomous feedback using a gyro and accelerometer. Difficulty was in getting the mechanical design built and circuits connected. Found out there were faulty hardware such as a nonworking bluetooth which was fried.

The system moves based on user imput.

What's next for DeLegobyrinth

Autonomous feedback for CPU control. A player will try to move the ball around the labyrinth and have to try and beat the cpu.
