Inspiration
We've all been there. Thinking about what to eat but not knowing what to choose or you do know what you want to eat but being the glutton that your are, don't know where to eat.
What it does
The decision maker app uses the 5-3-1 rule to gives users a single option.
How we built it
Majority of this app was built with HTML and CSS. Some of the functionality was done with pure JavaScript.
Challenges we ran into
Most of the process has been very smooth, but the most challenging was trying to get the google places API working. Sometimes the keys don't work or sometimes the code was unable to grab the data.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are very proud of being able to make a functional app, albeit the API issues.
What we learned
We learned the extent of which JavaScript plays when it comes to creating an app. JavaScript has many different sub-languages such as node, axios, express, jQuery, ajax etc...
What's next for Decision Maker
For now we think that the next step would be to implement the Google Places API and generate a list of nearby options with it.
