We were always fascinated by the domain of decentralized finance, especially with the programming aspects but always found it to be a little intimidating. So when we heard about Code-ision, we jumped at the opportunity to work on the intriguing problem statement of making our own token demystifying this domain, building something memorable, and picking up on new skills in the process!

We built the token itself using Solidity and the website using _HTML _ and _CSS _.

Our team had very little knowledge of Solidity, so we had to speed run through learning it for this project. Debugging and figuring out the structure and flow of the program was also something that consumed quite some time. Moreover, we did not have the required gas fees for deployment, so we had to wait on a faucet to provide us with the required funds.

Getting the code up and running after numerous rounds of debugging and seeing our transactions on the EtherScan website were among the most thrilling moments while working on this project.

We learned Solidity and a lot about decentralized finance by merely working on this project. In terms of soft skills, time management and team communication proved vital.

Hopefully, using the skills we learned over the past 48 hours to work on more extensive and more exciting projects out there!
