Ransomware payments are risky yet common. ~30% of companies pay ransoms, and ~50% of those fail to recover/secure data.
What it does
Guarantees that a ransomware payment will recover all of the data. Crisis-time assurance via cryptographically guaranteed outcomes, for adversarial environments like ransomware scenarios.
How we built it
Rust for the zero-knowledge proofs. Solidity for the smart contract to run the zero-knowledge proofs on Ethereum. Typescript for the webapp.
Challenges we ran into
Too few hours in a day. Sleep deprivation.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
A working MVP capable of supporting ~14% of the market.

Days are short. Coffee is good.
