Inspiration
We got the inspiration to build this project from youtube. Youtube rewards its creators thereby inviting more creators and audiences to its platform. We wanted to make a similar platform but by leveraging the advancements of web-3. Hence we've built Danzwith.us.
What is our vision
Danzwith.us is a platform where anyone can signup for free and start making content. Each and every content created would act as an NFT on our network and they would receive a specific amount of crypto for it. They can further trade it with fellow creators on the platform. As more and more users join our platform, the value of our crypto would increase and hence would be more profitable for creators than it is today with youtube.
What've we built
We started out by building a simple backend with Flask and using firebase as our database. Then we built a beautiful Website using React.js
Challenges we ran into
Given the timeframe, we've built a backend and a frontend but were not able to integrate them both to work.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we've been able to formulate a plan and also have built the backend and frontend as far as possible given the time frame.
What we learned
We've learnt a lot from this hackathon. We've never worked with react.js so this was a learning journey for all of us.
What's next for Danzwith.us
We are seeing to complete the whole platform in the future as this would then shape the future of social media
