Inspiration

A lack of apps for colorblind people even though 1/12 people have some sort of color blindness.

What it does

Takes an image and makes it a bunch of pixels and changes each pixels contrast, hue, saturation and luminance based on the colorblindness.

How we built it

We used python for the backend and to test we used google colab. Then we used flask to connect frontend and backend.

Challenges we ran into

The idea was just so technically complex, and the backend and frontend had connection issues.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We learned so much.

What we learned

Matrices, colorblindness connecting servers better and google colab. We also learned to send files through a flask server.

What's next for DaltonEyes

The app could work for other platforms, take less processing power or run faster. Somewhat dependent on each other.
