Inspiration
One of the best ways to motivate yourself is by gamifying your daily routine. Inspired by Snapchat’s streaks, we wanted to create a system where you set a daily goal and capture a photo of yourself achieving it.
What It Does
Snap Motive lets you and your friends create shared or individual goals and track your progress effortlessly. It verifies your achievement by capturing an image of you performing the activity or being in the designated area.
How We Built It
We built Snap Motive with passion using React Native, Firebase, and Express—infused with plenty of tears, sweat, and love!
Challenges We Ran Into
We faced a range of challenges, from integrating real-time photo verification to ensuring a smooth user experience across different devices.
Accomplishments We’re Proud Of
We’re incredibly proud of launching our first mobile app, competing in our first hackathon, and diving into JavaScript for the very first time—among many other achievements.
